Connecting Opportunities May 23, 24 and 25PROGRAM OVERVIEW The 2006 iCORE Summit: Connecting Opportunities embodies iCORE’s long-term goal to attract and retain ICT opportunities in Alberta, by providing Alberta companies a chance to learn about iCORE funded university research and to meet the people doing the research. This year’s summit will facilitate the connection of Alberta industry to the talent pool in Alberta universities; both professors and graduate students. The physical backbone of the 2006 iCORE Summit will be the displays, demonstrations and posters. Exhibit time will enable Alberta companies to connect with iCORE researchers, leading to opportunities for technology transfer, collaborations and hiring. iCORE Research posters will describe selected highlights of the research of iCORE Professors, PhD and Master’s students. Industry participants are invited to bring exhibits to spotlight their latest products, services and career opportunities for the university community.
