PROGRAM
DETAILS
ICT
Strategy, Planning, and Recruiting grants
are intended to support researchers
at Alberta universities in the process
of identifying and attracting global

outstanding researchers.
ISPR
grants will fund travel, accommodation
or other costs in support of the development
of a proposal for an iCORE Chair or
Professor and associated research team.
The activities supported might involve:
bringing in renowned researchers for
workshops aimed at calibrating our understanding
of research goals and methodologies
in a particular area; organizing thinktanks
with invited participants aimed at developing
a proposal for a Chair; conferences
or seminars that explore research areas
in which iCORE is interested in supporting
a Chair, hosting a potentail Chair and
his or her family for a visit to Alberta.
